About Us

Welcome to Double Diamond Stud! Our aim is to produce strong, healthy German Shepherds suitable for work or pets. We are dedicated to breeding quality and as such we have done the homework and only breed from top quality dogs, ensuring every single one is DNA tested.

We started breeding dogs back in 2017, though we weren't in the shepherds at that time. We bred a variety of small dog breeds, again being very selective of our breeding dogs to ensure we were breeding the healthiest puppies we could. You will still see our original stud male - Scamp - going strong at 13 years of age. Sadly the rest of our original breeding line are no longer with us.

COVID-19 was a huge hit to us and saw us have to downsize and get out of breeding for a time. But the passion and love for dogs still remained. I have always been passionate about the German Shepherd breed, so it was a dream come true when I got my first stud boy Kodiak as a puppy in 2023. After thorough DNA testing we decided to jump back in, purchasing our two girls Stormy (at 2 years) and Zuri (at 8 weeks), and finally our second stud boy Zulu at 18 months. All have been through the same thorough screening as Kodiak to ensure they are nothing but the best examples of the breed.

Of course, it's not just about quality dogs, but about happy dogs as well! All of our dogs are pets first, parents later. They all run happily together with our 3 other dogs, 4 cats, 5 beefies and 10 horses on our little 5 acre block. They come with us on holidays and camping trips and just love to be a part of the action.

In addition to DNA testing, all of our dogs are raised on premium dog food Black Hawk and are in an environment that gives them the scope they need to live their best lives.
